Check-in is from 13:00 till 20:00 o’clock.
Check-out is till 12.00 o’clock.
For a late check-out till 19:00 o’clock you will pay 50% extra. Please inform the reception beforehand.
The reception is open from 8:00 till 20:00 o’clock.
Yes, except for Sundays you can order fresh bread daily. Please place your order the day before at the reception. The bread can be picked up as from 8:45 am
There is no restaurant, but there is a bar serving all sorts of things!
Yes, you can use WiFi for free at the entire campsite.
All the pitches have electric hook-ups with 6 Amp.
Dogs are allowed on the site as long as they are kept on a lead. The camping is located next to a forrest where the dogs can run freely. They can be booked in for a small charge per night.
The bar is open from 8:00 AM – 20:00 PM with a happy hour from 18:00 PM – 19:00 PM.
From 2025, the campsite will have a separate exit. Both the driveway and the exit are paved and easily accessible.
Pelinos campsite has a limited number of pitches. Especially in May and June, the caravan and motorhome sites are usually occupied and it is advisable to announce your visit well in advance. In the summer months, this also applies to the tent pitches. Reservations can be made here.
Bush fires are a huge problem in Portugal. Therefore we don’t allow BBQ with open fire.
Yes, at most pitches the car is parked on the pitch. Only for some tent pitches at the terraces, it is not possible to park the car next to the tent. But don’t worry, during (un)loading and your camping gear, the car can be close to the pitch!
There are approx 25 pitches of which 5 are only accessable for tents.
Yes, both are available.
Yes, there’s a communal fridge with freezer and some microwaves and electric kettles free to use.
Yes, most of the pitches have reception to watch TV.
Yes, the pool is open every day of the season from 10:00 till 19.30 o’clock
No, you can pay in cash. The nearest ATM’s are at the supermarkets in Tomar (7 km) or at the town hall in Olalhas “Junta de Freguesia” (5 km).
The centre of Tomar is at 8,5 km distance and at almost 100 m diffence in hight. No problem for E-bikes. On a normal push bike the trip will take you 30 minutes to get there, and 50 minutes to come back again. You need to take the N110 for a few kilometers with a bit more traffic. Here you can take the side walk.
The nearest bus stop is 100 m from the camping. From Monday till Friday there’s a (poor) connection to and from Tomar. On public holidays there’s no bus service. More info: www.rodotejo.pt
A short ride with a taxi will cost approx. € 10,00.
Camping Pelinos is situated very central and therefore and excelent gateway to explore the rest of Portugal. At arrival you will receive a information folder with all the tourist hotspots of the area. Take a look here to have sneak preview of the highlights!
